There are things that you can do to help relieve some of the physical discomfort and help remove the toxins from your system when you are trying to break an addiction –

Eat at constant intervals throughout the day to keep blood sugar levels even.

Add more vegetables and whole grains to help maintain blood sugar levels and remove toxins.

Drink lots of fresh fruit or vegetable juices every couple of hours for the first couple of weeks.

Severely reduce sugar. You can indulge in a little healing honey!

Drink lots of water to flush the toxins out of your system.

One of the important things to ensure success when you’re trying to break any habit is to replace that habit with a better one. This would be a good time to start an exercise program. Not only will you get fit, but it serves as a distraction. Find something else to busy your mind and body with.

Yes – It is hard in the beginning – but you’ll be so much happier in the end. Stick with it!
