I feel so bad that I haven’t been in touch much. I’m still trying to save the carpet downstairs. Its been smelling worse and worse. I just shampooed with soap and vinegar, after spraying with Lysol. I had baking soda on it last night. I’ll have to let you know how it goes.
But I don’t have it nearly as bad as a lot of other people. I was in the Fox Lake area earlier today. There are a lot of houses that are still in the lake, and they won’t be out anytime soon. Its already been 2 weeks. I feel so bad for those people.
On the upside, we did have a couple of beautiful days. A taste of summer. That was a pleasant break.
We have Cinco de Mayo this weekend. Mexican food and Corona with lime is always fun, isn’t it? We’re cheating. We had steak fajitas last night.
And then Mother’s Day is right after that.
And showers, weddings, and graduations.
I should be back to normal next week and getting more helpful posts up for you. In the meantime, enjoy Cinco de Mayo and have some fun. Your spring cleaning is pretty well done, right?
