This is the time of year to really focus on eating healthy and taking care of our bodies so we aren’t getting sick all the time.

There are still plenty of great fresh vegetables to take advantage of. The added benefit is that vegetables are low in calories and full of fiber that will make you feel fuller. They will also help reduce your cravings.

Green Beans are available pretty much all year, but they are also at their peak right now. And almost everyone likes them. You may want to consider freezer preserving. There’s a link below.

Zucchini is a nutritious food full of many vitamins, minerals and fiber. However, the amounts are too low to include in the superfood category. Yes, its good for you and low in calories. Eat as much as you want! Though the high fiber content will make you feel full.
