In my neck of the woods, the forecast for the weekend is stay home if you value your life. Rain, then ice, then snow. Oh goody.
Its a good time to get some serious cleaning done during the cold, dull days of January when you’re pretty much stuck in the house anyway.
Now that your decorations are safely tucked away, its time to do some after holiday cleaning.
Take everything off shelves, clean it, clean and shine up the shelves, and put it all back. Its a good time to maybe shake things up a little. Try switching things up.
Use a feather duster or micro fiber cloth to wipe down books. Its a good time to wash figurines and any silk arrangements.
