I was shocked to learn that most of us don’t breathe right! I mean, isn’t this a natural function? How can we be doing it wrong?

It turns out that our bodies are so accustomed to stress that we breathe in, but we don’t breathe out. Isn’t that weird?

Doing breathing exercises increases your lung capacity, oxygenates your cells, builds your energy, slows aging, improves mental clarity, relieves stress, and may help ward off cancer. Oxygen starvation at the cellular level leads to disease; in fact, research shows that cancer cells cease to grow when blood and tissues are sufficiently oxygenated.

The simple act of breathing is so important that breathing exercises are the cornerstone of YOGA and meditation.
