One of the biggest time consuming house cleaning jobs is keeping the kitchen clean. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Here’s how to stop killing yourself and have a kitchen that is clean in just a few extra minutes a day –

Don’t ignore this because its so simple!

Every night when you clean up the dishes, always wipe up the stove. Its so much easier when you get the splatters when they are fresh. Check the range hood too. Then, do one extra thing from the following list each night.

  • Wipe out the microwave. Put a cup of water in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Wait a few seconds before removing it. The microwave will wipe clean easily.
  • Wipe down the fridge.
  • Wipe down the counters. Move everything, wipe under and behind.
  • Wipe down your cabinets with a little Murphy’s oil soap.
  • Wipe down the garbage can. I usually do this when I’m washing the floor.

OK, finish up each night by cleaning up the sink. Don’t forget the underside of the faucet 😉

There. Now your kitchen is clean all of the time! Wasn’t that easy?

Cleaning the whole house can be that easy

Carole, you have no idea just how much your book (linked above) has helped me. Thank you for all the great tips! It simplifies cleaning to the point that it IS only a five-minute cleanup. I think I remember you writing in another ebook that cleaning up the kitchen helps the whole house run smoothly. You’re right!
