If you’ve been following along and doing the things in the last few posts, you are in pretty good shape! That extra week this year gives us a little buffer.
I’ve noticed that people have sort of switched things out and started putting up Christmas decorations. I did that one year. My father had a fit that the Christmas tree was up at Thanksgiving. I actually used to feel that way too – that we should get through Thanksgiving before starting Christmas. This year, the cold and snow made it feel like Christmas.
But, I digress. We do have Thanksgiving to get through.
By the end of this weekend –
Your house should be clean and company ready. Keep it clean by cleaning the kitchen and baths every night, and a touch up dust and vacuum Wednesday night. Members, you’ve got this down, right?
All of the non-perishables should be bought.
You can probably buy most of your fresh items now too.
Some people will do baking.
Depending on the size of your turkey, you’ll want to have it thawing in the fridge starting Sun. night for a big bird, or Mon. night for an average bird.
Doesn’t it feel great to be so in control? You got this!
I’ll have the blow by blow get dinner on the table plan up by Wed. night.
