DepressionI’ve been meaning to write this for a couple of days now. A few people have mentioned being down, not into the holidays, just blah. The problem is, when I got home, I was so tired and depressed. I’m not immune either.

There is so much to do.

The weather stinks.

We haven’t had sun here in almost 2 weeks!

Then there is the financial strain and unreal expectations…

After a good dinner and getting some things done, I felt a whole lot better. Here are some quick tips for beating depression –

Stay active. Its hard to be active and depressed at the same time. And we have plenty to do to keep busy right now.

Eat well. Poor diet can actually make you feel depressed. Try eating a big salad!

Sleep. Make sleep a priority. You think you are accomplishing more staying up, but you’re not. You are slow and make more mistakes when you are tired.

Watch or listen to something funny.

These are just some quick tips. Non-members –  If you need more, Beat Depression Handbook
