Why you'll want to be in the Club -
Sane SuperWoman Club is for the woman who wants to squeeze the best out of life in every area of her life. She may work full time and have kids, parent, or pets that depend on her.

But That's Impossible you say?
No its not.
I've been doing it for years.
Oh sure, there are times when my plate is too full. That's life. Stuff happens, right? But that shouldn't be the norm.
It didn't start out that way...
Before my daughter was born, I was a clean freak. People actually made fun of me. They would move my figurines around, and put their feet up on my highly polished coffee table - just to drive me nuts!
Then my daughter was born. 3 months early. We were finishing a new house. My mom died of Cancer. My grandfather died. My grandmother needed help. My career died. We got divorced.
I was starting over at everything. New job, new home, and a single mom.
We struggled just to get through the weekdays – getting up too early, dropping the kid off at before school daycare, working all day, rushing to get back to after-school care before they left my kid out at the curb, we would be followed up the stairs by a stream of kids. We had a kid friendly home with tons for them to do. Then there was dinner, dishes, homework, bath, getting to bed too late, only to get up the next morning and do it all again.
Then on the weekends, there was housecleaning, grocery shopping, school shopping, and whatever other errands need to be run. It wasn't fair to either one of us. There was no time for fun.
There had to be a better way!
I started analyzing everything I had to do. I'm very analytical. I worked in legal and regulatory for many years.
Anyway – my sister had a housecleaning business. I looked at how a cleaning crew could clean your house top to bottom in a couple of hours. How could I break that down into a system?
We had some health issues. Being a micro-preemie, my daughter was prone to respiratory infections and had asthma. She was sick a lot. As a single mom, I couldn't be taking all that time off work. The school nurse was calling me all of the time...
I had to find a way to keep us healthy!
I started researching what we needed to eat to build our immune system, beat the allergies and asthma and keep us healthy.
Then, I needed to be able to make good food fast. I put together hundreds of fast and easy recipes that will rival most any restaurant – especially these days. Its getting harder and harder to find good food! We're food snobs. We hardly go out anymore. Its almost always disappointing – not to mention expensive.
And how do you keep going when life seems to be crashing in around you? How do you stay above it all and do what you need to do without falling apart?

Then, weather permitting – we walk the dog. We come home and she usually does the dishes while I get back online for a little while to work. And we still have time to do the other things that need to be done, or to just relax.

Now I'll be honest – we don't watch TV. We don't miss it. But like I said, we do have extra time. If we wanted to watch TV, we could get cable I suppose. Its not worth the money for us. We can get movies and set of TV shows at the library for free if we really want to watch something.

I think the topics that are being addressed are very pertinent to anyone attempting to make a solid and lasting change in their lives. I believe, as many self-development experts that I have read have stated, that the only real change occurs when you change the little things that you do - the habits of being. I also believe that real change can occur only when you have a mindfulness of what you are doing all day. It appears to me that you are addressing these very issues with the course. I will work harder to stay current with the work.
I find myself looking forward to finding out what each day's focus will be - the daily nature of the correspondence, I believe, fosters the mindfulness I mentioned. Overall, I'm very impressed with the course so far!
