Thanksgiving is almost here! Is your mouth watering yet?
It seems everyone is talking about their favorite dishes.
The Count Down Begins
This Weekend …
Finish shopping except for anything that needs to be absolutely fresh. I like to buy the vegetables and fresh rolls at the last minute for absolute freshness. Yeah, I’m picky. You can buy them this weekend.
Depending on the size of your turkey, it should be in the fridge thawing by Sunday for a larger turkey or Monday night for a smaller one.
If you haven’t ordered bakery items, do it now! You might be too late.
If you don’t have a feather duster, or some pledge Wipes or something like that, get some. For fast touch ups.
Give the house a really good cleaning so all you have to worry about is picking up and touching up.
Plan easy dinners for the week.
Relax. If you’ve been keeping up, you are in great shape!

One of the things on my to-do list was to get my booster shot. I knew today was going to be crummy, so it was as good a day as any to be down. The nurse giving me the shot said that she had wanted to get hers, but the house is a mess and she hasn’t done any of the shopping. You could feel her stress and disappointment.
I try to save you from that, but you have to do the work.
