Why you can eat, and eat, and eat, and still feel hungry

You eat dinner. You even have a second helping.

A little while later, you’re in the fridge and the cabinets looking for something else.

You probably didn’t eat your vegetables.

You know, when you get hungry – it is your body’s way of telling you that it needs something; water, fuel, or nutrition.

The problem is that when you grab whatever is handy, you may not be fulfilling your body’s needs.

Tonight, a neighbor brought me some mostaciolli. I was hungry, and it had been a long day. I ate 2 bowls.

Then I was into what’s left of the cookies.

It finally occurred to me that I needed to eat a salad. Ahhhh.

See, even I am not immune…
