Really, my calendar says its National Cocoa Day.

So what exactly does that mean?

Should we eat chocolate all day? Maybe some Mole’ Chicken for dinner?

Is it the day that people typically start baking holiday goodies?

Is it the day when most baking chocolate is sold?

No one seems to know how or why December 13 is National Cocoa Day. Most speculate that it is a celebration of hot chocolate, sometimes called cocoa. Its usually pretty cold out by now. A cup of hot cocoa is warm and soothing. And they say that cocoa is good for your heart.

I think we should settle in with a good cup of hot cocoa and read through For the Love of Chocolate and pick all the goodies we are going to make this weekend for the holidays. Sound like a good idea?

Look over to the right. You can get your free copy. (if you are already subscribed, you won’t be subscribed again – it will take you directly to the book)
