Covid-19- time of change

One of my favorite sayings is, “There’s good and bad in everything.”

This situation is bad. For many, its real bad. For most, its just knowing that its not as bad as it could be, and the fear and uncertainty of what comes next are unsettling to put it mildly.

Sometimes, finding the good can be difficult, but I think as this all unfolds there is no doubting the good that can come out of this.

My daughter said that its like the world is resetting. I think that’s a good way to look at it.

Why does it always take a good hard slap upside the head to get us to change?

“And the people stayed home”

Kitty O’Meara:

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.

And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.

And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.
