Why would people move now? And shouldn’t it be clean?

Dining_Room__TV_CornerThe last week has been a blur…First a blizzard, then trying to cram 5 days of work into 4. I can’t imagine how the people in Boston are dealing with all that snow they got! We only got 2 feet.

Then my sinuses were threatening an infection. I won’t go into details…but the raw garlic did the trick.

Then an old friend has moved back to the Midwest from Oklahoma. I know its been like 12 years, but did she really forget what winter is like here? I drove up to Milwaukee Saturday to help her unpack and clean. An hour and ten minutes each way.

Sunday I drove down to see my daughter’s new apartment and visit a little, and meet the boyfriend’s family. An hour 15 each way. I feel like I spent the weekend driving. And she didn’t even feed me!

In both cases, I was amazed at how dirty the apartments were. You would think they would give new tenants a clean apartment. UGH!

So the subject of how to clean things has come up a lot lately.

I know there is a list of the cleaners I use in your copy of How to Clean House Without Losing Your Mind, but that would still require finding them. And its getting to be spring cleaning time. So, I searched them out for you –  For Your Convenience – Cleaning Products I Use

Then there is that cleaner going around Facebook. They say it cleans shower doors great. It didn’t work for me, and I tried it in a couple houses. But it does make a great all purpose cleaner. It is equal parts vinegar and Dawn. You heat the vinegar in a glass measuring cup, then add an equal amount of Dawn and mix. Let it cool and put it in a spray bottle.

I hope that helps!

It is supposed to be really cold this weekend. I am looking forward to staying in! There are exciting things to get done – like taxes… And I have had requests for a book on time management – something more cohesive than the tips I give you here.  All I hear is “I don’t know how you do it all!”

Doing it and finding time to write about it are two different things. I will work on it – I promise!

In the meantime – If you haven’t taken the new mini-course, you should. It will certainly give you a good start on getting control of your life.

Well, that is it for this episode. The pumpkin bread is ready  to come out of the oven and I have to hit the shower. A few more busy days ahead.

I hope your week is going great!
